Yoshihiko Miyauchi (Senior Chairman, Orix CORPORATION)

Yoshihiko Miyauchi began his career at Nichimen & Co., Ltd. (currently Sojitz Corp.) in 1960 and spent four years there before joining Orient Leasing Co., Ltd. (now ORIX Corp.) as one of the founding 13 members in 1964. He became president and CEO in 1980 and was appointed Chairman and CEO in 2000. In June 2014, he resigned as Chairman, CEO, and a Director. At present, he serves as Senior Chairman.
He holds directorships on the boards of Dream Incubator Inc. and ACCESS CO., LTD
Since 2002, he is Chairman of JACD.

Hiroshi Suzuki (President & CEO, HOYA CORPORATION)

Hiroshi Suzukiis President and Cheif Executive Officer of Hoya Corporation, a multinational corporation headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Hoya Corporation engages in the research, development and commercialization of innovative high-tech and medical device products through its divisions and business units located around the world.

Joined Hoya in 1985 and appointed as Director in 1993. Mr.Suzuki became CEO of Hoya Corporation in 2000 and has brought the Company through a successful globalization and reformation of its business structures.

In 2003 Hoya adopted "company with committee system" with majority of the board being independent directors.


Kazuhiko Toyama (CEO, Industrial Growth Platform, Inc.)

After joining the Boston Consulting Group, Kazuhiko Toyama became a founding member of Corporate Directions, Inc.(CDI), where he later served as CEO. He was appointed COO of Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan (IRCJ), which was established by Japanese government in 2003. He established Industrial Growth Platform, Inc. in 2007.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo, and holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduates School of Business.


Masatoshi Matsuzaki (Chairman of the Board, Konica Minolta, Inc.)

Masatoshi Matsuzaki has been Chairman of the Board of KONICA MINOLTA, INC. since April 2014. He joined Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd. in 1976 and engaged mainly in product development and planning of printers and MFP's. After the merger of Konica and Minolta in 2003, he held several leadership executive positions responsible for R&D and technology strategy. He served as President and CEO of KONICA MINOLTA INC. from 2009 April to 2014 March.


Nobuyoshi Ehara (Representative Director, Unison Capital, Inc.)

Nobuyoshi John Ehara co-founded Unison Capital in 1998. Unison Capital, a pioneer in the private equity business in Japan and the nation's leading firms today. Mr. Ehara was instrumental in establishing the Private Equity Association of Japan. Mr. Ehara served as its first Chairman from 2005 to 2007, and again from 2013 till 2015.

Prior to founding Unison Capital, Mr. Ehara spent sixteen years at Goldman Sachs and became the first Japanese to be selected General Partner in 1988. Mr. Ehara worked at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company in New York and Tokyo between 1978 and 1980.

Mr. Ehara has served as Director of Asia Pacific Initiative, an independent think-tank based in Tokyo since 2013. He has been on the board of Sumitomo Corporation since 2016.


Nobuyuki Idei (Founder and CEO, Quantum Leaps Corporation)

Nobuyuki Idei is founder and CEO of Quantum Leaps Corporation, a consultancy and incubator, and former chairman and CEO of Sony Corporation. Quantum Leaps aims to enhance Japan's competitiveness in the 21st century by supporting corporate transformation and nurturing technology-driven venture companies.


Tadashi Shimamoto (Chairman of the Board, Nomura Research Institute, Ltd.)

Tadashi Shimamoto has been Chairman of the Board at Nomura Research Institute, Ltd (NRI) since 2016. NRI provides integrated services ranging from consulting through information systems management. He joined the company in 1976 after graduating from Kyoto University. He directed Advanced Information Technology Division as Senior Corporate Managing Director, and then undertook a role of supervising overall business divisions. He served as President & CEO since 2010 to 2016.


Tetsuro Higashi (Corporate Director and Advisor, Tokyo Electron Limited)

Tetsuro (Terry) Higashi serves as Chairman of the Board at Tokyo Electron Limited. He has joined this company from 1977, having served as the President & CEO since 1996 to 2015. At present, he serves as Corporate Director and Corporate Advisor. He also served as Chairman of SEAJ (Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan) from 2005 May to 2011 May, now he serves as Vice Chairman. Along with that, he had served as board of directors at SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International). He had been in the position of Chairman at SEMI from 2004 July to 2005 July.


Yoshinari Hara (Honorary Adviser, Daiwa Securities Group Inc.)

Yoshinari Hara is Honorary Adviser of Daiwa Securities Group Inc. He joinedDaiwa Securities in 1967 after graduating from Wakayama University. In 1997,He became President of Daiwa Securities. And then, He established DaiwaSecurities Group Inc., the first listed financial holding company in Japanand became President and CEO of the Group in 1999. He served as Chairman in 2004 and supreme adviser in 2008.


Yuzaburo Mogi (Honorary CEO and Chairman of the Board, Kikkoman Corp)

Yuzaburo Mogi is Honorary CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kikkoman Corp. He joined the company in 1958 after graduating from Keio University. In 1961, he earned an MBA from Columbia University. He was appointed to the position of President and CEO in 1995, and Chairman and CEO in 2004.

He presently serves as Co-Chairman of the National Congress for the 21st Century Japan; Japanese Chairman of the German-Japanese Forum; Chairman of Japan-Midwest U.S. Association; Japanese Chairman of the Korea-Japan Forum. He was Vice Chairman of Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) from 1995 to 2003.

In 1999, he was awarded the Medal with Blue Ribbon of Japan; in 2003, the Order of Orange Nassau from the Kingdom of the Netherlands; and in 2006, the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
